Why is there a name mismatch in my KYC records on Lakshmishree?

If you notice a name mismatch during your KYC verification, it is likely due to the PAN details fetched from the Income Tax Department.
 

How does this happen?

  • During KYC, the system fetches your official name from the Income Tax Department (linked to your PAN).
     
  • If the name you entered does not match the official records, it will be automatically replaced with the PAN-registered name.
     
  • Another common reason is that your Aadhaar and PAN are not linked, causing inconsistencies in the KYC verification process.
     

How to Correct This?

  1. If you want to update your name, you must first correct it with the Income Tax Department.
     
  2. Once updated, restart the PAN verification process on Lakshmishree.
