Net Asset Value (NAV) is the Price Per Unit of a Mutual Fund scheme. It represents the market value of all the securities held by the fund, divided by the total number of units.
The NAV is calculated at the End of Each Trading Day, based on the total assets and liabilities of the fund. It helps investors determine the value of their holdings and track fund performance over time.
For example, if a Mutual Fund has total assets worth ₹10 crore and has 1 crore units, the NAV per unit will be:
NAV = ₹10 crore / 1 crore units = ₹10 per unit
When investors buy or redeem Mutual Fund units, they do so at the latest available NAV.
