Once you approve the UPI mandate for your IPO application, the payment status may take up to 24 hours to update.
This happens because:
- The exchange processes and updates the payment status based on bank confirmations.
- The funds are blocked in your sponsor bank, but the system might take time to reflect this status update.
Important points to note:
- As long as the amount is blocked in your bank account, your IPO bid is considered valid.
- If the status does not update within 24 hours, check your UPI app and bank statement to confirm whether the funds are blocked.
- If the funds are not blocked, you may need to reapply for the IPO before the bidding deadline.
