A Negative Fund Balance means your account has gone into Debit. The possible reasons include:
- Mark-to-Market (MTM) Losses from daily F&O trades.
- When you take delivery trade more then credit balance.
- When you are using Margin Trading Facility.
- Unpaid Charges, such as:
- DP charges for stock transactions.
- Interest on margin funding.
- Government taxes or SEBI charges.
- Late payment charges.
To avoid late payment, traders should Add Funds Immediately when they see a negative balance.
