The Webinar On ETF - Swapnil Kulkarni

What Is An ETF ??

Many times, people do tend to assume that an ETF is Mutual Funds. But let us hint you, they aren’t. An ETF or Exchange Traded Fund is similar to Mutual Funds. Wherein, it is a composite of stocks that is dependent on another underlying index. The major difference to look on for dissimilarities between ETF & Mutual Fund is that ETFs are traded on Exchange like other share trades the whole day.

To be more precise, ETFs are the equities that are based on the Indexes of various Investment areas. However, to invest in ETFs, your capital is manifested to diversify the risk of investment. Falling more deeply, ETFs play fortunate roles for the ones who are not sure about their investment strategies. Or they are unknown to the Stock Market tricks to earn better returns. Or the ones who are in the process to diversify their risk.

For instance, when you dig in for the individual stocks, you are either bound to have profit or loss. Here the conclusion of your returns is dependent on a single stock. Whereas, when you opt for an ETF you get to expect your results based on multiple stocks through investing in Index ETFs.

Your Brain would be asking until now... Why ETF ??

ETF itself is one of a bit puzzled areas to understand but if one crosses through it can enjoy an end number of benefits. With the tax-efficiency, low-cost, & stock-like features, the ETF has been so far already stamped as one of the most amazing traded funds. Still in doubt with your thoughts ?? Nevermind !! you can simply consider that ETFs are the Equities where investors are portrayed with a variety of assets to invest in.
