Stock market today snapped its two-day losing streak on April 1, with benchmark indices ending higher amid signs of de-escalation in the ongoing US–Iran tensions.
The market kicked off the new financial year on a positive note, with Nifty opening gap-up at 22,900 supported by broad-based buying across sectors and the broader markets. Despite some intraday profit booking, indices managed to hold gains and closed on a strong note.
