Stock market today opened the week on a strong note, touching fresh all-time highs in the early trade. The positive mood came from strong global cues and better-than-expected India GDP growth at 8.2% in Q2FY26, the highest in six quarters. But the momentum faded as manufacturing growth slipped to a 9-month low of 56.6 in November, and the rupee weakened, wiping out early gains. Markets then moved in a narrow range for the rest of the session as investors waited for the interest rate decisions from the US Federal Reserve and the Reserve Bank of India later this week.
