Growth in the core hotel business and contributions from recently acquired businesses supported the consolidated results.

ITC Hotels Q2 Results : Key Financial Highlights

Consolidated revenue: ₹1,054 crore, up 25.6% YoY.

Consolidated net profit: ₹201 crore, up 51.4% YoY.

EBITDA: ₹337 crore, up 37.3% YoY.

EBITDA margin: 32%, compared with 29.3% in Q2 FY26.

Hotel segment revenue: ₹966 crore, compared with ₹823 crore a year earlier.

Hotel segment profit: ₹206 crore, compared with ₹141 crore in Q2 FY26.

Standalone revenue: ₹885 crore, up 16.3% YoY.

Standalone net profit: ₹207 crore, up 36.8% YoY.

Why Did ITC Hotels’ Profit Grow Faster Than Revenue?

ITC Hotels recorded stronger growth in net profit than in revenue during the September quarter. Consolidated revenue increased 25.6%, while net profit rose 51.4%. EBITDA growth of 37.3% also outpaced revenue growth.

The improvement in operating performance was reflected in the EBITDA margin, which increased by approximately 270 basis points to 32%.

The company’s core hotel operations remained the principal contributor to its revenue. At the same time, its expanding portfolio and the contribution of recently acquired businesses supported the consolidated financial performance.

However, the impact of acquisitions should be considered when comparing the latest consolidated figures with the previous year’s results.

Hotel Business Remains the Main Revenue Contributor

ITC Hotels’ hotel segment generated revenue of ₹966 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹823 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, representing growth of approximately 17.4%.

Hotel segment profit increased to ₹206 crore from ₹141 crore, an improvement of approximately 46.4%.

The segment’s profit growth outpaced its revenue growth, indicating improved profitability during the quarter. Performance in the coming periods will depend on occupancy levels, room rates, demand for premium hospitality services and operating costs.

Branded Residences and Acquisitions Support Growth

The branded residences business contributed ₹71 crore in revenue and ₹23 crore in segment profit during Q2 FY27. This business did not contribute revenue in the corresponding quarter last year.

ITC Hotels also expanded its portfolio through acquisitions. The company acquired Kerala Luxury Resorts Private Limited, formerly known as Zuri Hotels and Resorts, on 19 May 2026. It also acquired GHK Hospitality & Infrastructures Limited on 1 September 2026.

The consolidated results include the financial performance of these businesses from their respective acquisition dates. Consequently, the reported year-on-year growth rates are not directly comparable with those of a business operating with the same portfolio throughout both periods.

Standalone Performance Also Shows Growth

Excluding subsidiaries, ITC Hotels reported standalone revenue of ₹885 crore in Q2 FY27, up 16.3% from the corresponding quarter last year.

Standalone net profit increased 36.8% to ₹207 crore.

The standalone figures provide a view of the company’s performance without the contribution of its subsidiaries. The difference between standalone and consolidated results reflects the additional contribution of the company’s subsidiaries and consolidation adjustments.

What to Watch Next

The following factors will be important for tracking ITC Hotels’ performance in the coming quarters:

Occupancy and room rates: Changes in hotel occupancy and average room rates can influence revenue growth.

Operating margins: Whether the company can sustain its 32% consolidated EBITDA margin.

Acquisition integration: The contribution and operating performance of recently acquired hotel businesses.

Hotel segment profitability: Whether segment profit continues to grow faster than revenue.

Branded residences: Further contribution from the branded residences business.

Hospitality demand: Demand across luxury, premium and mid-market hotel segments.

Conclusion

ITC Hotels delivered strong Q2 FY27 financial results, with consolidated net profit rising 51.4% to ₹201 crore and revenue increasing 25.6% to ₹1,054 crore. EBITDA grew 37.3%, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 32%.

The core hotel business recorded higher revenue and segment profit, while branded residences and recent acquisitions contributed to consolidated performance. However, the effect of acquisitions should be considered when assessing year-on-year growth. Future results will depend on hotel demand, room rates, operating efficiency and the performance of the company’s expanded portfolio.

Source: ITC Hotels Limited’s Q2 FY27 financial results and company disclosures published on 26 October 2026.

Disclaimer: Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks.
