RBI\u2019s transfer alone now covers most of that expectation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gives the government additional flexibility to manage expenditure without immediately increasing borrowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Economists Still Remain Cautious<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the record payout, economists say fiscal risks have not disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several forecasts suggest India could still miss its <strong>FY27 fiscal deficit target of 4.3% of GDP<\/strong> if oil prices remain elevated and subsidy spending rises.
