Electric scooter maker Ather Energy reduced its net loss to \u20b9234.4 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, helped by strong sales of its new family scooter model \u2018Rizta\u2019. In the same quarter last year, the company had posted a loss of \u20b9283.3 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ather’s revenue from operations went up by 29 percent year-on-year, reaching \u20b9676 crore in Q4FY25. In the year-ago period, the company had reported revenue of \u20b9523.4 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company\u2019s EBITDA loss also narrowed to \u20b9172.5 crore from \u20b9238.5 crore compared to the previous year. The reduced losses show that the company is improving its cost structure while increasing sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u20b92,981-crore initial public issue of Ather Energy was subscribed 1.43 times. Demand was predominantly from QIBs and retail shareholders. The issue was priced at a price band of \u20b9304-321 per share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The stock had a small market debut with a marginal opening gain of just a 2 percent. The IPO was the first mainboard public issue of the year FY26 and was the second firm listing by an electric two-wheeler entity following Ola Electric\u2019s IPO last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its shares increased by 3.45 percent to \u20b9310.55 on the NSE at 3 PM on May 13, reflecting investor confidence in the growth plans of the firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
