{"id":5420,"date":"2024-12-11T09:16:44","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T03:46:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lakshmishree.com\/news\/?p=5420"},"modified":"2024-12-11T09:16:45","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T03:46:45","slug":"ntpc-green-energy-shares-in-spotlight-after-securing-energy-storage-system-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakshmishree.com\/news\/ntpc-green-energy-shares-in-spotlight-after-securing-energy-storage-system-project\/","title":{"rendered":"NTPC Green Energy Shares in Spotlight After Securing Energy Storage System Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Shares of NTPC Green Energy are expected to draw investor attention on December 11 after the company secured a significant project to establish an Energy Storage System (ESS) with a capacity of 250 MW\/1000 MWh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NTPC REL, a 100% subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, emerged as the winner in the e-reverse auction invited by Solar Energy Corporation of India for the development of 2000 MW of ISTS-connected solar PV power projects along with ESS with a total capacity of 1000 MW\/4000 MWh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the agreement, NTPC REL had emerged as the successful bidder for 500 MW of solar power capacity quoted at a tariff of Rs 3.52 per kWh. In tandem with this solar capacity, it was mandatory to establish an ESS with 250 MW\/1000 MWh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NTPC Green Energy made its debut at Rs 111.50 on the NSE, up 3.24 percent over the IPO price of Rs 108.
