The demand for gold loans has picked up, partly due to the Reserve Bank of India\u2019s (RBI) tightened regulations on unsecured lending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Financial Highlights:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AUM Growth:<\/strong> Muthoot Finance&#8217;s consolidated AUM grew <strong>31% YoY<\/strong> to \u20b91.04 lakh crore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gold Loan AUM:<\/strong> A record \u20b986,164 crore, with most loans repaid within six months due to strong collection efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Net Profit:<\/strong> The lender reported a <strong>26% YoY<\/strong> growth in net profit at \u20b91,250 crore for the September quarter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Revenue:<\/strong> Revenue jumped <strong>35% YoY<\/strong> to \u20b94,120 crore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analyst Outlook:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bernstein<\/strong> maintained an <strong>Outperform<\/strong> rating with a target price of \u20b92,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Morgan Stanley<\/strong> upgraded the stock to <strong>Equal Weight<\/strong> from <strong>Underweight<\/strong>, citing an improving environment but cautioning about sectoral concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategic Moves:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Muthoot Finance has approved an additional <strong>\u20b9500 crore fund infusion<\/strong> into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Muthoot Money. This move aims to bolster its capital base and improve the capital adequacy ratio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Growth Drivers:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Managing Director George Alexander Muthoot explained that the rural part of India, which continual possessed two-thirds of the gold in the country, continued to drive growth for gold loans.
