At 1:40 PM, the stock was trading 4% higher at \u20b9385. On a year-to-date basis, Crompton Greaves shares have gained 23%, outperforming the Nifty 50 index, which has risen by 8% during the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s consolidated net profit for the quarter grew <strong>27.8% year-on-year (YoY)<\/strong> to \u20b9124.9 crore. Revenue from operations increased <strong>6.4% YoY<\/strong> to \u20b91,896 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Segment Highlights:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Electric Consumer Durables (ECD):<\/strong> Revenue rose to \u20b91,392.7 crore, up from \u20b91,238 crore a year ago.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lighting Products:<\/strong> Revenue grew to \u20b9253 crore, compared to \u20b9238.7 crore last year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Butterfly Products:<\/strong> Revenue declined to \u20b9250.2 crore from \u20b9305.6 crore in Q2 FY24.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The company said there is growth in the fans segment, led by margin enhancement on account of regular price increases. Crompton Greaves reported an EBIT margin of 9.7% in the quarter, higher compared with 9.1% in the same period last year on account of pricing across categories considering rising input cost and regulatory changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crompton Greaves is into the business of electrical equipment and offers fans, LED lighting, pumps, water heater, and kitchen appliances among its products.
