Wipro announced a 21% rise in net profit for Q2 FY25, reaching \u20b93,209 crore, compared to \u20b92,646 crore in the same quarter last year. The IT services giant also declared a 1:1 bonus share issue, rewarding shareholders amid a challenging market environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revenue for the July-September quarter declined slightly by 1% year-on-year to \u20b922,302 crore, falling short of the projected \u20b922,219 crore. The company reported total bookings of $3.56 billion, with large deal bookings amounting to $1.49 billion, reflecting a 28.8% increase sequentially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operating margin of Wipro’s IT services business expanded to 16.8% due to cost optimization and improved utilization. “We saw strong performances in the key sectors of BFSI, Consumer, and Technology,” highlighted CEO Srini Pallia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
