Tanla&#8217;s AI-driven anti-phishing solution, Wisely ATP, will identify fraudulent phone numbers and suspicious URLs to alert WhatsApp about potential scams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The details of the deal remain confidential, but media reports suggest a collaboration with Meta Platforms-owned WhatsApp. This partnership aims to provide real-time signals to WhatsApp, enhancing its efforts to detect and remove scam accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collaboration follows the telecom regulator&#8217;s June 13 directive requiring telecom firms to deploy AI\/ML solutions to identify suspicious SMS messages. &#8220;External signals are crucial for WhatsApp to proactively identify and take down scam accounts before users fall victim,&#8221; a source told the Economic Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanla Platforms&#8217; shares were trading at Rs 1,050.40, up 10.2%, at 10:24 a.m. on the National Stock Exchange.
