Waaree Energies Shares Jump 8% After Strong Q4 Results; Profit Rises 34% and Revenue Grows 36%

Shares of Waaree Energies rose over 8 percent on April 23 after the company announced strong financial results for the fourth quarter of the financial year. The company’s stock touched its highest level in nearly three months after the results were declared.

Waaree Energies reported a 34 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 618.91 crore for Q4FY25. Revenue from operations during the quarter also grew by nearly 36 percent year-on-year to Rs 4,003.93 crore. The company’s EBITDA for the quarter surged more than 116 percent to Rs 1,060 crore compared to the previous year.

Looking ahead, Waaree Energies has given an EBITDA guidance of Rs 5,500-6,000 crore for the ongoing financial year. The company expects strong year-on-year growth, driven by increasing demand and operational excellence.

Waaree Energies CEO and Whole Time Director Amit Paithankar stated that FY25 proved to be a watershed year for the firm. He emphasized that their strategy, size, and execution enabled them to record an industry leading EBITDA of Rs 3,123.20 crore. He further added that the robust demand patterns and emphasis placed upon margins will help fuel the firm’s growth strategies in the future.

Waaree Energies is also increasing its international presence. Its 1.6 GW module manufacturing plant has become operational in the USA, with the location in Texas. This is part of its strategy to have local manufacturing and supply chain control in key markets such as the USA.
