Vistara, the premier full-service carrier of India, announced that passengers on international flights could enjoy complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi. The new service gives 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi on all three cabins aboard its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft, thus making Vistara the first Indian airline to introduce this feature.
Passengers can use complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi, and further plans can be purchased using an Indian credit/debit card. The process involves OTP verification through e-mail during an active session.
“Once again, we proudly take the lead and become the first Indian airline to introduce complimentary Wi-Fi on international flights across cabins,” said Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara. “We are certain customers will appreciate this addition in value that will render even more convenience, productivity, and seamlessness to their Vistara journey.”
Wi-Fi offerings include the following :
- Complimentary 50 MB for Business Class and Platinum Club Vistara members.
- Free chat service for all Club Vistara members throughout the flight.
- Paid plan by Chat: ₹372.74 + GST for unlimited messaging app data.
- Surf Paid plan: ₹1577.54 + GST Users will have unlimited data, in-built audio and video streaming.
- Stream Paid Plan– ₹2707.04 + GST for unlimited data that will let all streaming protocols be enabled. Vistara’s fleet is equipped with advanced in-flight entertainment systems offering nearly 700 hours of content, with wireless connectivity powered by Panasonic Avionics.
