TCS Q2 FY25 Net Profit Dips to Rs 11,909 Crore, Declares Rs 10 Dividend

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted a 1.1% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) drop in net profit for Q2 FY25, amounting to Rs 11,909 crore, falling short of market expectations. Revenue rose to Rs 64,259 crore for the same period.

The IT giant announced a second interim dividend of Rs 10 per share, with a record date of October 18, 2024. Sectoral growth was driven by Energy, Resources, and Utilities, while North America continued to face a slowdown. TCS also highlighted a $15,000 crore BSNL deal and an order book of $8.6 billion for the quarter. Despite the financial results, TCS shares declined by 0.6%, closing at Rs 4,227.9 on the NSE.
