RBL Bank reported a 24.3% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹222.52 crore for the second quarter of FY25, with a sharp sequential drop of 40.1%. The bank’s gross non-performing asset (NPA) ratio increased to 2.88% as of September 30, 2024, compared to 2.69% in the previous quarter and 3.12% a year earlier.
Net NPA also saw a slight rise to 0.79% from 0.74% in the previous quarter, indicating some pressure on the bank’s asset quality. The results highlight the challenges faced by RBL Bank amid a competitive banking landscape.
