Petronet LNG Limited reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,100.76 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25, marking a 34% increase compared to ₹819.28 crore in the same period last year. The significant profit growth was also reflected in a nearly 50% rise from the previous quarter’s ₹734.07 crore.
The company’s revenue from operations reached ₹13,415.13 crore, up from ₹11,656.38 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. This growth highlights a robust performance in the gas distribution sector.
As of 2:22 p.m., shares of Petronet LNG were trading at ₹343.80 on the BSE, up 3.07% from the previous close, reflecting investor confidence following the strong quarterly results.
