NBCC (India) Ltd. saw a jump in early trade on November 4 after securing multiple contracts totaling Rs 235 crore. Despite trading slightly lower at Rs 98.25 on the BSE at 09:30 am, the company’s recent order wins reflect strong business momentum.
The new contracts include a Rs 44 crore project awarded by Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University in Varanasi for constructing a multipurpose examination hall and innovation center. Additionally, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, awarded NBCC a Rs 5 crore contract for repairing and renovating the Panani Bhawan academic block. The company also won a major Rs 186.46 crore project to renovate the Power Grid Corporation of India’s corporate office building in Gurugram, Haryana.
NBCC’s board of directors is scheduled to meet on November 13, 2024, to review the unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2024.
The stock, which reached a 52-week high of Rs 139.83 on August 28, 2024, is currently 28.51% below this peak but trades significantly higher than its 52-week low of Rs 42.53 set in November 2023. Over the past year, NBCC shares have surged over 120%, highlighting the company’s strong performance in recent months.
