NBCC India Shares Climb 5% on Securing Rs 916 Crore Orders

NBCC India shares surge 5% at Rs 98.67 per share. The jump comes as investors lapped up shares in huge numbers as the company secured two major orders valued at a combined worth of Rs 916 crore. Volumes are swelling, and more than one crore shares changed hands over one month’s average of 81 lakh.

The two key orders include:

  • Rs 600 crore project from the Housing & Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) for developing a 10-acre institutional plot in Noida, where NBCC will act as the project management consultant.
  • Rs 316 crore project from the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Odisha, to upgrade primary school hostels under the State Sector Scheme in various locations.

Earlier in November, NBCC had won other contracts worth over Rs 500 crore for building construction at various locations for the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and a contract worth Rs 44 crore from the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University, Varanasi.

NBCC’s Growing Portfolio
The company’s robust order book includes various projects such as:

  • A Rs 5 crore renovation project for Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi.
  • A Rs 186.46 crore contract for renovating the Power Grid Corporation of India’s corporate office in Gurugram.

With such strong order inflow, NBCC India continues to solidify its position as a key player in India’s construction and project management sector.
