Inox Wind is expected to see gains in the opening trade after securing a Letter of Intent (LoI) from IGREL Renewables Ltd (IGREL) for the execution of a 550 MW wind power project. This turnkey project will involve the supply, installation, and commissioning of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) by Inox Wind, along with comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services following the project’s completion.
The proposed project does commence over a period of 24 months at various sites in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The recent LoI supplements the earlier 200 MW firm order, taking Inox Wind’s total order book to more than 3.5 GW.
This forms an important milestone for Inox Wind and puts us on course to achieve 2 GW annual execution by FY27,” said Kailash Tarachandani, Group Chief Executive Officer, Inox Wind. With this, the company is set to cash in on swelling opportunities in the renewable energy sector during the forthcoming decade.
