Jio Financial Services Ltd. has introduced the JioFinance app in Paris, allowing Indian travelers to make digital payments at selected tourist attractions in the city. This launch coincides with the Paris Olympics, making Paris a prime destination for global sports enthusiasts.
Visitors from India to France can now buy tickets to the Eiffel Tower from its official website, La Tour Eiffel, and make in-store purchases at Galeries Lafayette Paris Hausmann, the famous department store in Paris, with the JioFinance app.
In partnership with Visa – the official payments partner of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, it has now arrived in India House. The JioFinance app, which identifies its features and capabilities, will be visible to visitors of India House, set up by the Reliance Foundation in partnership with the Indian Olympic Association.
“Visa is the official payments partner of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, and in partnership with Visa, JioFinance also has a presence at India House,” the Reliance-owned company said. “Designed for frictionless navigation, JioFinance dreams of offering a refined new digital experience to all Indians at each step of their financial journey. Since the application caters to users at all levels of familiarity with FinTech, effortless money management at the fingertips is always ensured,” it added.
The idea is to provide an improved experience to visitors from India to Paris by leveraging seamless and convenient digital payment solutions.
