On August 26, 2024, shares in AU Small Finance Bank changed hands to the tune of ₹804 crore on the exchanges. There were approximately 1.30 crore shares, comprising some 1.7% of the bank’s stake, which were transacted at the floor price of ₹630 per share.
Strong investor interest was witnessed for this deal, as AU Small Finance Bank is considered a market leader within the small finance banking sectors. This termed block deal represents good churn on the company’s equity. This shows continued confidence in the growth and financial stability of the company.
