Adani Wilmar Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 311.02 crore for the September 2024 quarter, marking a turnaround from a loss of Rs 130.73 crore in the same period last fiscal. This return to profitability comes after the company posted a net profit of Rs 313.20 crore in the previous June 2024 quarter. Revenue surged 18% year-on-year to Rs 14,460.45 crore, reflecting strong sales growth.
The EBITDA of the company increased manifold to Rs 566 crore from Rs 144 crore in the year-ago quarter, as margins improved to 3.9% from 1.2%. The shares of the company surged by 6.22% to Rs 338.5 on the NSE as the stock hit its intraday high of Rs 342. Shares have been gaining for the last two days and are up nearly 8% in this period.
