ACC Q4 Profit Falls 20% Despite Higher Revenue; Declares ₹7.5 Dividend for FY25

ACC Ltd, part of the Adani Group, announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of FY25 on April 24, showing a 20 percent fall in net profit. The company reported a profit of ₹751 crore for the March quarter, down from ₹943 crore in the same period last year.

The fall in profit came even though the company’s revenue increased by 13 percent to ₹5,992 crore in Q4FY25, compared to ₹5,317 crore in Q4FY24. The rise in expenses, especially raw material costs, impacted the company’s bottom line.

ACC declared a dividend of ₹7.5 per share for FY25. The record date for this dividend has been fixed as June 13, and shareholders will receive the payment before July 1.

The sales volume at ACC increased 14 percent year-on-year over this quarter on the back of robust demand as well as its recent expansions. The company has introduced new grinding units and carried out debottlenecking and modernization projects to cater to increased infrastructure demand in India.

ACC Whole Time Director and CEO Vinod Bahety expressed that the company is better placed for the future now. ACC’s strategic actions such as developing its capabilities and improved operational planning are assisting the company to continue its leadership position in the cement business, as claimed by him.

At 3:25 pm on April 24, ACC Limited’s shares were at ₹2,065 per share, higher by 0.64 percent on the day.
