  • Net profit: ₹1,900.76 crore, up 203% YoY.

MRPL Announces Interim Dividend

Alongside the quarterly results, MRPL’s board approved an interim dividend of ₹3 per equity share for FY27, equivalent to 30% of the face value of ₹10 per share.

The company fixed October 21, 2026, as the record date to determine shareholder eligibility for the dividend.

What the Results Indicate

MRPL recorded substantial year-on-year growth in revenue and profitability during the quarter. However, the sequential decline in revenue shows why investors should assess quarterly earnings alongside refining margins, crude oil prices, inventory-related effects and other factors influencing refinery performance.

Investors should also distinguish between the company’s reported profit and underlying operating performance when evaluating the sustainability of earnings growth.
