Tata Technologies Q2 FY27 Financial Highlights

For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, the company reported the following consolidated financial performance:

  • Operating revenue: ₹1,698.8 crore, up 28.4% YoY.
  • Operating EBITDA: ₹273.3 crore, up 31.5% YoY.
  • EBITDA margin: 16.1%, an improvement of 40 basis points year-on-year.
  • Net income: ₹171.4 crore, up 3.6% YoY.
  • Net income margin: 10.1%.

The figures indicate that revenue and operating EBITDA grew substantially faster than net income during the quarter.

Services Business Drives Revenue Growth

Tata Technologies’ services segment recorded revenue of ₹1,355.7 crore, representing growth of approximately 33.9% year-on-year. The company’s technology solutions segment contributed ₹343.1 crore.

In US dollar terms, services revenue stood at approximately $177.9 million, with organic constant-currency growth of 19.1% year-on-year, according to the company’s investor presentation.

Tata Technologies Secures $138 Million Vehicle Programme

During the quarter, Tata Technologies secured a $138 million full-vehicle development programme from a luxury European automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

The programme covers two vehicle platforms and includes product development, manufacturing engineering, technical leadership and programme management.

The company also reported additional engagements involving vehicle-platform development, software validation and digital transformation for automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

What the Q2 Results Indicate

Tata Technologies delivered strong revenue growth and an improvement in its operating EBITDA margin compared with the year-ago quarter. However, net income growth was considerably lower than revenue growth, making profitability an important metric to monitor in subsequent quarters.

The company said it remained confident of achieving strong double-digit growth for FY27, supported by programme ramp-ups, demand and its project pipeline. This is management guidance, not a guarantee of future performance.
