Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), a Navratna PSU, has announced an interim dividend of ₹1.50 per share for the financial year 2024-25. The company’s board of directors approved the decision at its meeting on March 5, 2025.
BEL has set March 11, 2025, as the record date for determining shareholders eligible for the dividend payment. According to the exchange filing, the dividend will be disbursed within 30 days from the date of declaration.
Earlier this month, on February 25, the exchanges were notified by BEL regarding the board meeting to deliberate the interim dividend.
Some earlier corporate actions were the issuance of bonus shares in September 2022 in the proportion 2:1, buybacks executed during 2016 and 2018, and stock division from Rs. 10 to Rs. 1 per share.
The stock gained 2.67% to an intraday high of ₹272.2 per share on the NSE, a 10% gain over the last three days.
