Adani Power Ltd reported a 7.4% increase in net profit for the third quarter of FY25, reaching Rs 2,940.07 crore, compared to Rs 2,737.96 crore in the same period last year. The company’s profit, however, was lower than the Rs 3,297.52 crore reported in the previous quarter.
Following the earnings announcement, shares of Adani Power surged 4.78% to Rs 520.95 on NSE at 3:12 PM.
The company’s revenue for Q3FY25 stood at Rs 13,671.18 crore, up from Rs 12,991.44 crore in Q3FY24. Revenue also improved slightly from Rs 13,338.88 crore recorded in the previous quarter.
Additionally, Adani Power’s board of directors has approved a plan to raise up to Rs 5,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP).
