Narmada Agrobase Ltd reported a significant increase in net profit for the July-September quarter of FY25, supported by lower operating costs. The company posted a net profit of ₹1.29 crore, a notable rise from the same period last year.
Revenue from operations stood at ₹10.24 crore, slightly down from ₹11.40 crore in Q2 FY24. However, total expenses dropped to ₹8.51 crore from ₹11.24 crore, driven by reduced raw material and inventory costs. As a result, operating profit (EBITDA) surged to ₹2.06 crore.
It is still positive about growth prospects in the future, expanding its market and product portfolios. Recently, Narmada Agrobase raised ₹36.58 crore through a rights issue proposed for meeting the growth and expansion plans.
On November 14, the shares of Narmada Agrobase closed 4% higher at ₹15 on BSE due to investor confidence in the company’s performance and strategy.
