ITI Ltd.’s shares are set to stay in focus on November 11 after the company, along with its consortium partner, emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for three major packages in the BharatNet Phase-3 Project, with a combined project value of Rs 4,559 crore.
The company has been selected as the L1 bidder for Package 15, covering Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur, valued at Rs 1,537 crore. ITI also secured Package 8 in Himachal Pradesh, and Package 9, which spans West Bengal and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, collectively worth Rs 3,022 crore.
The BharatNet Phase-3 Project, a key national initiative to improve digital connectivity, involves 16 packages across various states and union territories. BSNL’s project model includes the design, supply, construction, and ongoing management of a middle-mile network under a DBOM (Design Build Operate and Maintain) model.
A board meeting on November 14, 2024, will review and approve ITI’s unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2024.
