Shares of Taj GVK Hotels and Resorts rose nearly 8% on November 4 following a robust Q2 FY25 performance. The stock was trading at Rs 330.85 on the NSE, up by 7.82% at 1:36 pm after initially climbing over 9% in early trade.
The Hyderabad-based company has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 19.65 crore for the September quarter, up 76.46% compared to Rs 11.13 crore it recorded in the corresponding period a year ago, according to its recent exchange filing. As against this, Taj GVK had reported a net profit of Rs 12.71 crore for the June quarter.
Revenue from operations also showed strong growth, rising 17.61% year-on-year to Rs 105.17 crore in Q2 FY25, up from Rs 89.42 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.
