BCL Industries Q2 Net Profit Soars 64% to Rs 21 Crore Amid Strong Revenue Growth

BCL Industries, a prominent player in the recycling and energy sectors, announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the September quarter, reporting a 64% increase to Rs 21.01 crore. This marks a significant improvement from a net profit of Rs 12.83 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to the company’s filing on Tuesday.

During the same period, BCL Industries reported substantial revenue growth, with total income climbing 44% year-on-year to Rs 533.84 crore, up from Rs 368.62 crore in the year-ago quarter. This growth was driven by increased demand across its product lines and improved operational efficiencies, reinforcing the company’s strong market position.

Expansion and diversification of the product-mix comprises Rs 350 crore invested by the company in new projects- a biogas plant, and a distillery in Haryana. This investment on the part of the company forms part of the big-picture strategy for leveraging the momentum for sustainable energy solutions in order to minimize environmental degradation, which forms a key focus area in the country’s stride toward greener fuels.

The new biogas plant and distillery are expected to bolster BCL Industries’ revenue streams, supporting its goal of becoming a leader in sustainable energy and recycling.
