HCL Tech Reports 11% Rise in Q2 Net Profit to Rs 4,235 Crore, Declares Rs 12 Dividend

HCL Technologies posted an 11% year-on-year increase in net profit for Q2 FY25, reaching Rs 4,235 crore, surpassing market expectations. The company’s revenue for the July-September 2025 quarter rose by 8.2% year-on-year to Rs 28,862 crore. Sequentially, net profit dipped slightly by 0.5%, while revenue saw a 3% increase.

The numbers beat estimates, with a poll estimating revenue to increase 1.6% to Rs 28,517 crore and a net profit decline of 5.5% to Rs 4,024 crore. HCL Tech also declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per share in its earnings report as it took the total dividend payout in the ongoing fiscal to Rs 42 per share. The company had declared a dividend of Rs 18 each in May, which followed another Rs 12 apiece the month before.
