Shares of Just Dial Ltd climbed over 3 percent on October 11 after the company posted a 9 percent increase in net profit for the second quarter of FY25. The stock traded at ₹1,308.95 on the NSE at 3:06 PM.
Just Dial reported a net profit of ₹154.07 crore for Q2, a 9.09 percent rise from ₹141.22 crore in the previous June quarter. Compared to the same period last year, net profit surged 114.61 percent from ₹71.79 crore.
It increased revenue for the quarter by 1.51 percent from ₹280.57 crore in Q1FY25 to ₹284.83 crore, higher than the ₹260.61 crore revenue posted in the year-ago period.
According to Shwetank Dixit, Chief Growth Officer, Just Dial, such results come on the back of strong focus on core products and operational efficiency, investments in state-of-the-art technologies such as AI, among others. Just Dial also scaled new digital customer acquisition channels, which are expected to further grow in FY25.
