Shares of Arvind Fashions surged nearly 5 percent during the pre-market session on Wednesday, September 11, after a significant transaction worth over Rs 250 crore took place on the stock exchanges. A total of 43.5 lakh shares, equivalent to 3.3 percent equity, changed hands at Rs 575 per share in the block deal window.
The identities of the buyers and sellers who participated in the deal could not be known immediately. Shares of Arvind Fashions jumped following the deal and rose to Rs 582.50, up 4.99 percent on the National Stock Exchange. The deal has attracted investor interest and pushed the stock higher in early trade.
