In a proactive move to ensure seamless operations, even in the face of unexpected disasters, the NSE and BSE are gearing up for a special live trading session.<br><br>Here's a detailed breakdown in simpler terms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Special Trading Session:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The main objective is to evaluate the readiness of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sebi.gov.in\/sebi_data\/faqfiles\/mar-2023\/1678938542076.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sebi.gov.in\/sebi_data\/faqfiles\/mar-2023\/1678938542076.pdf\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Market Infrastructure Institutions <\/a>(MIIs) to handle unforeseen events that may disrupt regular operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It serves as a practice session to test the efficiency of disaster recovery measures and how quickly operations can be restored in case of emergencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trading Timings and Segments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The special session is divided into two segments.
